Solving problems in the moss garden.
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
If the purpose of society is to come together to solve the problems that are difficult if not impossible to solve alone, a culture that centers hyper individualism is self defeating.
We are not a labor pool to be deployed in pursuit of individual gain.
We are an adaptive collaborative system that has forgotten we live as communities to solve communal challenges.

Under the pier.
Dubie’s Thought of the Day:
The myth is that we are in competition with each other. That the empty bellies of others are the necessary cost of keeping ours full.
Dispelling this myth will dissipate the fear that fuels all systems of repression.

Lighthouse from an ocean view.
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
Crisis is the jet fuel of transformation.
Don't waste it!

Dubie's Thought of the Day:
Conflict is rarely you against the world or the people around you. It is most often between how you see the world and how you wish you saw the world.
Blossoms emerging…

My friend Fawkes waiting to distribute happiness…
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
My friend Fawkes was telling me the other day that there is happiness hidden behind every dog's ear and that if you scratch there some will rub off.
I think he was just looking to get his ear scritched but that doesn't mean he's wrong.

Light among the trees and smoke.
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
There is no need to hoist the world onto your shoulders; believing it requires your assistance. It has been caring for you since long before you imagined your renovations. Stand open to its wisdom and let it transform you instead.

A doe says hi…
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
This wonderful place
Is never what I expect.
How brilliant is that?

An old trunk transforming
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
Accumulation of wealth by any individual robs the community that created it of the benefits of their efforts.
The slowing effect of stored value will eventually starve all real innovation and lead to a society focused on trading tokens instead of creating a more abundant world.

The moon peeking through
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
In the rain soaked soil
Seeds prepare to meet the sun.
Patience, the first fruit.

An old tree still reaching.
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
Logic and reason help us to build an understanding of our experience. We should be careful we don't confuse this understanding with understanding the world.

Sunset in the Concord woods
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
Being a father may not come with a manual, but it luckily comes with a teacher.
In my case two.

Just relaxing by the pond
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
Despite all of the reporting to the contrary, there isn't always a problem to be solved or chased.
True problems will let you know they exist, there is no need to imagine them.

Sunrise through the tradescantia
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
All things come to an end; including systems of greed and oppression.
Happy Juneteenth everyone!

A wet path bathed in spring rain
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
Car tires on wet pavement
The snapping sound of rain
Falling through oak leaves
A snoring Farley at my feet
All an invitation to let today
Take care of itself
For just a little while longer
