Cacophony of Color

Moving past balance
Into darker days
Filled by autumn winds;
The trees prepare.
Creeping patches of color,
Bright cozy panels
Of a kaleidoscope quilt
Ready to tuck in the bees
And summer seeds
For a well deserved rest.
