Sunlight
Passing through the changing leaves
Captured by tendrils of smoke
Curling upward
From the burning incense,
Moving together;
Shadow dancing across
The dark wood floor.

Breathing in
Is that the smell of lavender?
Or stillness?
Or the light itself?
Or maybe it's just me
As I sail through space
Perched on my cushion.
