Chipmunk Paradise
Dubie's Thought of the Day:
I like watching the chipmunks
Bustling through the cover of
Freshly fallen leaves in the front yard.
The rustle of their movement
Hidden from prying eyes
And the attentions of the hawk
Perched in the bare branches above.
I hope they take the time to enjoy
Their efforts while gathering
The bounty of harvest
Before winter closes in.
Keep barking my little friends,
Keep barking.
