Spring's fickle warmth is hidden

Behind layer of gray clouds,

A damp chill is waiting

To sink into my bones.

But not yet.

There are dogs snoring at my feet

And my cozy bed requires my attentions;

The world can sort out is own affairs

For just a little while longer.
